Power Smoothie!!

This smoothie is perfect for those who don’t have a great deal of time in the mornings. It is packed with minerals like calcium , zinc and magnesium that boost fertility, and is great for sustained energy release.

In a blender overnight, soak:

  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 10 almonds
  • 1/5 cup pepitas
  • 1/5 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/5 cup linseeds/flaxseeds

Put these in the blender and top with water to cover.

In the morning add the following to the blender and blend until very smooth:

  • 1/3 cup frozen berries (blueberries, blackberries or raspberries are best)
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup of rice milk, oat milk or full fat organic cows milk (or to desired consistency)
  • 1 tbsp raw honey
  • 1 tbsp lecithin
  • 1 tsp spirulina or barley greens (optional)
Try adding 1 tbsp cocoa or raw cacao powder for a chocolate shake, yum!
